See Me, See Us: A Portrait Exhibit

"what's the greatest lesson a woman should learn?
that since day one, she's already had everything she needs within herself. it's the world that convinced her she did not.

Women are a contradiction by nature: empowered and weak. independent and codependent. adventurous and cautious, revealed and callous and the definition of what it means to be a woman varies.

See Me, See Us is a photographic collaboration with the goal of portraying who women are. The project intends to capture an innermost quality and cast light on their soul; both the light and shadow of a woman. As a collective and gender there is wisdom and power in women and when we can bring our souls to the surface we can confidently contribute.

Photographers, Lisa Fioretti and Cindy Knight work independent and collaboratively to expose women and through the process empower them to see themselves and see each other in new light.

The exhibit will run late spring 2018 at a venue to be announced.

And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.
